James Minards

As Country Sales Manager for the UK and Ireland, James brings his extensive knowledge of the technology and market to help ensure healthcare providers have the right solutions to meet their current and future business needs.

A champion of the GS1 and Scan4Safety programme, he has helped deliver the processes and systems which improve both patient safety and drive business efficiencies.

With almost two decades of experience in the supply chain industry, including 14 years spent in the healthcare sector, James has held a number of roles across both the supplier and provider side. His experience supplier side includes working on stock and manufacturing requirements for Johnson & Johnson, before a move to Oracle. There he worked as an eProcurement specialist managing implementations before moving to the US for a role in product development.

Prior to joining GHX, James worked for a range of consultancy firms and was responsible for the development and management of the NHS Shared Business Services procurement platform.
