Transformational Healthcare Supply Chain Takes Center Stage at 16th Annual GHX Summit

Next month’s GHX Healthcare Supply Chain Summit will bring together hundreds of professionals from across the continuum of care – providers, manufacturers, distributors and group purchasing organizations (GPOs) – to discuss supply chain’s increasingly critical role in reducing costs and improving patient care. • Laurel Junk, The Changing Patient Population: Junk, the chief supply chain and procurement officer at Kaiser Permanente, will join Barry Blake, vice president of research at SCM World, to discuss the rise of chronic care and its impact on the healthcare landscape. They will share strategies for providers and suppliers to help navigate the complexity of a changing healthcare population.
• Mary Beth Briscoe and Dr. Robert Cerfolio, Supply Chain Management and Physician Engagement: The University of Alabama Medical Center will provide clinical and executive perspectives on the supply chain’s integral role in value-based healthcare. Attendees will learn how engaged physicians can help transform a supply chain.
