Professional experience

Prior to joining GHX, Calderone spent 20+ years coaching and guiding organizational change in the healthcare industry. He has supported lean and general performance improvement initiatives for Trinity Health, McKesson, Michigan Primary Care Association, Henry Ford Allegiance Health and Michigan Medicine (University of Michigan) .

He has extensive healthcare performance and operational improvement experience throughout the entire healthcare delivery continuum, including rural health clinics, urgent care centers, community-based hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers (ASC) academic health systems, medical practices, critical access hospitals, and homecare organizations.

His various roles and titles included Senior Performance Excellence Consultant, Director of Program Management and Performance Improvement, Lean Health Care Advisor, and Value Transformation Consultant.
